Great restaurant with a very nice view. Well furnished and nice terrace. The food is presented very nicely and absolutely does what the sight promises. The service is nice and attentive. We will be back definitely!

The food was partly good, partly nothing special. 2 out of 3 waitresses seemed very stressed with an estimated 50% occupancy of the restaurant and were friendly to the minimum necessary. The view is nice, the rooms inside are very nice and quite recently renovated.

The Kastensteinerwand Alm has meanwhile become an absolute “must” for us on our BGL vacation. Due to the Covid-19 situation, I definitely recommend reserving a table. The food was once again excellent, the service super nice and courteous. We have not been here for the last time on this holiday.

Very rude owner, gives customers the impression that they are disturbing him. Our humble request to switch tables (there were plenty of free tables during our entire one hour stay) was greeted with a grumpy No! Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else, plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.

Unfortunately, you are not welcome here with small children. As an excuse why we were not welcome, the insufficient number of face masks was given. The thing that a scarf that is in the public transport but as a face mask is okay here but could not be clarified with the staff. Furthermore, we were threatened with a fine that we would have to pay if a control were carried out.

A wonderful place !!! Excellent cuisine is served by the extremely friendly staff! This is how you imagine a successful stop! The host also organizes and organizes celebrations courteously and with creative ideas! You have to recommend this restaurant in every way !!!!

We were back today after a long time. First of all, the location is of course fantastic, which is why it is worth visiting the Alm. The food is really delicious, the service friendly and courteous. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the terrace very well, but the interior is also really cozy after the renovation. We like to go there often and all our guests always get a visit recommendation.

We were just thrilled with the food. The goulash was like nuts and cheap too. There is also a great view. It's best to reserve, also well attended during the week!

On the day of arrival in Bischofswiesen, we immediately asked which viewing platform would be reached quickly. The restaurateur had explained the way and we went on foot. Nice on foot and by car to reach. The ambience is great and modern and the view phenomenal. The prices perfectly fine and the staff nice and fast.

Rarely eaten so well! Beautiful ambience, great service and delicious food. Nothing from the wholesale market, everything fresh and prepared with a lot of emotion / creativity. Best price performance ratio. Incredible that so few guests were to be found in such a quality. Tip!

This place is beautiful! The view and building are amazing. The food was excellent as well. My 10 year old daughter loved the kids menu! I thought maybe we were lost as the road turned to gravel, but keep going it is correct. We plan on going again in our visit to the area.
